Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 9 October 2025

Thank you for choosing The Glass Skin Clinic. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form the agreement between The Glass Skin Clinic ABN 48 348 346 691 ("we", "us", "our") and you, our valued client ("you", "your").

By booking an appointment, purchasing a product, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Booking Policy. Please read them carefully.

1. General Advice & Information Disclaimer

The information provided by our staff, on our website (www.theglassskinclinic.com.au), and on our social media channels is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Consult Your Doctor: You should always consult with a qualified medical professional or your GP regarding any medical conditions or concerns before starting a new treatment, particularly advanced procedures such as RF Microneedling, IPL, or HIFU.

  • Individual Results Vary: Treatment outcomes and product effectiveness can vary significantly from person to person due to factors such as age, skin type, lifestyle, and medical history. We do not guarantee specific results. Any testimonials or "before and after" images shared are examples only and do not constitute a guarantee of your own results.

  • No Medical Claims: The statements made about our treatments and products have not been evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

2. Client Obligations & Suitability

Your safety and well-being are our highest priorities. To ensure we provide you with a safe and effective service, you agree to the following:

  • Provide Accurate Information: You must complete a Client Consent Form before your first treatment and update it as necessary. You warrant that all information provided regarding your health, medical history, medications, and allergies is accurate and complete. This is especially critical for treatments involving light, heat, or skin penetration. We are not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your failure to disclose relevant information.

  • Treatment Suitability: We perform a thorough consultation prior to treatment. We reserve the right to refuse treatment at any time if we, in our professional opinion, believe you are not a suitable candidate for the requested service for safety or medical reasons.

  • Follow Instructions: You agree to follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment (aftercare) instructions provided by our therapists. Failure to do so may compromise your results and your safety, and we will not be held liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from your failure to adhere to our instructions.

3. Bookings, Cancellations & Refunds

We have a dedicated Booking Policy that outlines our procedures for appointments, cancellations, and refunds. Key terms are summarised here:

  • Booking Policy: All appointments are subject to our Booking Policy. Please familiarise yourself with it.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled treatment's value. "No-shows" will be charged the full price of the scheduled treatment.

  • Refunds:

    • Services: Payments for treatments are non-refundable, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. We do not provide refunds for change of mind.

    • Products: Products may only be returned for a refund if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging, or if they are faulty as required by the Australian Consumer Law. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened products.

4. Pricing, Payments & Promotions

  • Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Prices are subject to change without notice. However, the price for any pre-paid treatment or package will be honoured.

  • Payment: Full payment for treatments and products is required at the time of your appointment or purchase.

  • Promotions: We may offer special promotions from time to time. These promotions are subject to their own specific terms and conditions, which will be provided at the time of the offer.

5. Pre-Paid Treatments & Gift Vouchers

  • Pre-Paid Treatments:

    • Pre-paid treatment packages must be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase, after which they will expire.

    • Pre-paid treatments are non-transferable to other individuals and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

  • Gift Vouchers:

    • Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

    • They are redeemable for treatments and products at The Glass Skin Clinic.

    • They are not redeemable for cash, cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, and are non-refundable.

6. Policy on Minors

Due to the nature of the advanced treatments we provide, we have a strict policy regarding the treatment of minors.

  • We do not perform any treatments on any person under the age of 16.

  • For clients aged 16 or 17, a parent or legal guardian must be present to co-sign the consent form before the first treatment can proceed.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any treatment on a minor that we deem inappropriate or not in the client's best interest.

7. Adverse Reactions

You acknowledge that advanced treatments such as IPL, RF Microneedling, Chemical Peels, and HIFU carry inherent risks of side effects, which will be explained to you during your consultation. While rare, adverse reactions can occur. If you experience an unexpected side effect, you must:

  1. Contact The Glass Skin Clinic immediately at 0402 779 955.

  2. Provide clear photos of the reaction if requested.

  3. Cooperate with our team by attending follow-up appointments if necessary so we can assess the situation and provide guidance.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Glass Skin Clinic and its employees from and against any claims, losses, damages, or costs arising out of your breach of these Terms or your failure to follow our professional advice and instructions.
